ARTIST BIO

Chris was born and raised in Memphis, TN. His professional journey started as a musician in Memphis and that lead to traveling and exploring the eastern side of the U.S. That music life is where Chris was introduced to the professional tattoo world.

Originally Chris attended school for graphic design. By nature he is an abstract painter and a photographer, so his foundation is in fine art. He brings that commercial art knowledge and experience with him into tattooing.

In the summer of 2011, Chris began his apprenticeship in Memphis. Music and tattooing were both very popular at that time and both went together hand in hand. Both forms of art lead Chris back and forth between Memphis and Orlando over the next 10 years. He finally moved home to Memphis in 2014 where he concentrated on tattooing and attending art classes at the University of Memphis full time.

This focus in art helped develop the style of tattooing that Chris now enjoys. He prefers to focus on black and grey tattoos with red in a surrealist / abstract approach. He also enjoys human and animal portrait tattoos, he is known for his attention to details and textures.

Somewhere along this journey Chris has become known as a very successful cover up artist. He does take on tattoos that most artists will not. In 2017 he won first place in the Best Cover Up category at The Tattoo Voodoo Expo in New Orleans. If you are interested in getting a cover up done you have come to the right artist.

When Chris is not tattooing he can be found with his wife Jaime on the disc golf course playing casually or in tournaments. He donates his time and art to the disc golf community in attempts to grow the sport he loves. He can also be found in his kitchen learning to prepare new fine dining foods for his beautiful wife. Chris has a love for from scratch cooking and enjoys constantly learning to prepare new foods.
